This paper introduces the cooling tower cooling operation time ratio and the comprehensive coefficient of performance of the air conditioning cold source system as the main evaluation indicators. Based on the transitional season and winter data from typical meteorological year parameters of Guangzhou (hot summer and warm winter zone), Shanghai (hot summer and cold winter zone), Beijing (cold zone), and Urumqi (severe cold zone), it analyses the performance of cooling tower cooling systems in office and commercial buildings. Furthermore, it examines the impact of the supply and return water temperature on the cooling water system side and the air-water ratio of the cooling tower on the comprehensive coefficient of performance of the cold source system, and explores the optimal combinations of various parameters in different climate zones.
